According to Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology, Marine Industries Technology Development Council has dispatched internal marine experts to participate in international exhibitions, make arrangements for the presence of foreign professionals in internal marine conferences and also to sign agreements on joint international collaborations.
This mission is aimed at enhancing and empowering Iran’s national brand in the market for high tech products, learning about similar technologies and reverse engineering developed by knowledge-based companies, improving the quality of high tech products, expanding Iran’s market share and creating the platform for the entry of Iran’s knowledge-based corporations and marine universities to the international arena.
The most important activities of the Council between 2014 and 2017 include the Professional Pavilion of Iran’s Marine Industries in Russia’s 13th International Marine Exhibition, Professional Pavilion in Germany’s SMM, the leading International Maritime Trade Fair, holding joint marine conferences between Iran and South Korea, Iranian National Institute of Oceanography’s trip to Russia and finally signing international agreements with Russian and South Korean organizations.
Marine Industries Technology Development Council will also participate in 38th Europort international shipping exhibition which will be held in Netherland on November 7-10, 2017. Europort is the international maritime meeting place for innovative technology and complex ship building.
